Wine lovers get your palate’s prepped – you will not be disappointed on your next visit to Sedona. While it might not be known as a wine destination, Sedona and northern Arizona can certainly hold its own when it comes to great local wine.

Page Spring Cellars (Cornville)

Page Springs Cellars Vineyards & Winery offers weekly winery tours, a tasting room, and a small (but mighty) kitchen cooking up a selection of gourmet foods. The tasting room even has live music every Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday afternoons.

Javelina Leap Vineyard and Winery (Verde Valley)

This boutique winery is family owned and operated, with a fully functional vineyard and winery processing approximately 60 tons of Arizona grown grapes. With an assortment of international award winning wines, Javelina Leap Vineyard will not dispappoint. Enjoy a tour or simply relax with a glass of vino in the private garden or Arizona room while enjoying artisan cheese platters or a number of other delicious snacks.

Four Eight Wineworks (Camp Verde)

In reference to the country’s 48th state, Four Eight Wineworks is Northern Arizona’s first wine makers Co-Operative. The winemakers at Four Eight Wineworks are driven to make their mark in Arizona’s fledgling wine region. With a tasting room in Downtown Clarkdale, there are a number of events taking place regularly and this is a great way to taste some of the region’s up-and-coming wines before they gain notoriety.

Alcantara Winery (Cottonwood)

This popular Cottonwood winery has one of the largest vineyards in Northern and Central Arizona. Take a tour or unwind and enjoy the beautiful weather – there is a good-sized outdoor seating area with a very relaxing ambiance. For $10, you can taste five wines and take home a souvenir. Regular vineyard events feature the winemakers as well as local musicians.
