L'AUBERGE DE SEDONA TAPS NEW DIRECTOR OF SALES AND MARKETING

Simeon D. Ebedes to Spearhead Resort's Sales and Marketing Department

SEDONA, Ariz. - December 5, 2007 - Simeon D. Ebedes has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for L'Auberge de Sedona, one of Arizona's foremost retreats. In his new role, he will be responsible for the resort's sales and marketing endeavors and managing the sales and marketing staff. Ebedes comes to the resort from the Heritage Hotel in Southbury, Connecticut, where he served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the past two years.

Ebedes began his extensive career in hospitality at the Waterford Hotel Group, where he served in a number of diverse positions, including food and beverage director for the Holiday Inn in New London, CT and General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott & Rosemont Suites in Norwich, CT. He went on to serve in leadership roles for the Hastings Hotel in Hartford, CT, the Water's Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook, CT, and Dolce International, also in Connecticut.

Prior to moving to the United States from South Africa, he garnered valuable hotel experience in a variety of positions at Sun International's Lost City Entertainment Complex, the Palace Hotel, Sun City and the Cascades Hotel.

Ebedes earned a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and attended the Johannesburg Hotel School in South Africa.

A true outdoorsman, he spends his free time scuba diving, snowboarding, camping, fishing, sailing and playing tennis.
