FAQs

For your convenience, we have compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions from our guests so as to hopefully provide you with a few answers prior to your visit:

Phoenix Sky Harbor is the closest International Airport.  Flagstaff airport is a small airport about 45 minutes from L’Auberge, US Airways is the only airline and typically a connecting flight is required.

Unfortunately we do not provide shuttle service from the airport.  However, we would be happy to assist in setting up transportation.  Our concierge may be reached by email or phone.

A 10% service fee per night of your stay (minimum $25) will be added to cover all gratuities for the bell staff, valet, concierge, guest services, housekeeping staff, wireless Internet access throughout the resort, as well as the following: morning coffee with baked goods and fresh fruit, daily guest activities (yoga, stargazing, duck feeding, etc.), local transportation, daily newspaper delivery, digital New York Times, fitness center and spa steam room and lounge access, free local telephone calls, complimentary bottled water, welcome beverage upon arrival, and afternoon cookies and fruit.

Unfortunately no, with our liquor license all alcohol must to be purchased through Etch Kitchen & Bar or Cress on Oak Creek.  We do have an extensive wine list and would be glad to make suggestions.

Once you are at L’Auberge, simply sign your spa or restaurant checks to your room and credits will be applied upon check-out.  A full bill will be available at check-out and our guest service agents will ensure everything is correct prior to your departure.

No, none of our daily guest activities require registering.  The stargazing activity is open for 2 hours and you may come and go as you please.  Our yoga and meditation class sizes are limited, so we suggest that you arrive early.  Should you wish to have a private session, please contact the spa directly.

Our resort shuttle is available 24 hours and will transport guests within 1 mile of L’Auberge.

Our gift cards are as good as cash and can be used in both restaurants, Etch Kitchen & Bar and Cress on Oak Creek, as well as L’Apothecary Spa, and towards your guest room.  Our gift cards may be purchased online or by calling the resort directly.

Driving from L’Auberge to the Grand Canyon takes about 2 hours; however, there are a few routes that can be taken which may affect this time.  Out concierge and front desk team have maps that they will gladly share.

Yes with a current fishing license, we do allow guests to fish in Oak Creek. You many find more information about Arizona Fishing Licenses here.   We will also share other local areas for fishing as well as private fishing tours.
