We spend 2 – 3 months traveling and thus staying in hotels around the world quite a bit (ranging from the grubby to the extreme five star). With that in mind: Our stay at L’Auberge was FANTASTIC. – Immaculate rooms + Housekeeping staff that probably rates as the BEST I’ve previously encountered. – Overall staff – some of the friendliest we’ve encountered, without artifice or being over-the-top – Amazing settings and layouts for the rooms (Vista Suites) – Extremely helpful and attentive Reservation Staff (Leveta was a gem) – Restaurant food selection, not one to stun me, but the wine knowledge of Michael (Creekside restaurant) and attentiveness and helpfulness of everyone we encountered at the restaurant and property – We met not a single rude, or disinterested employee – Valet staff – beyond prepared and polite and outright fun to chat with. (There was no typical dread of passing through as is something I frequently experience when staying at certain high end hotels.) I have absolutely no negatives at all about this hotel. It was a perfect stay and we cannot wait to return. Very well done, L’Auberge.

Fantastic. That is, to summarize in a word our “date night” dinner at L’Auberge. Touting a voluminous wine list and a scholarly staff with which to navigate this book, the evening began well with a recommended red blend. Engaging shortly onto the lobster bisque transformed our dinner into a dining experience. This bisque has no compare, and would serve on its own as a sole reason to drop on in. Again, upon recommendation, my wife selected the Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs and I selected the Seared Ahi Tuna. The presentation of our entrées was superb and was only exceeded by the beautifully complex flavors. We exchanged various bits of our meal with one another and greatly enjoyed our short, yet fantastic, “date night”.

This is one location you should not miss, we will be back again as this was our second visit. Upon our departure we had two bottles of water in our car which was a very nice touch for our journey. We will be back. Keep up the good work in adding the little touches for your guests as it is greatly appreciated. My wife and I spent two nights at this inn and we were thoroughly impressed. Our spacious room was in the lodge (not one of the cabins). The room was very comfortable with a little balcony, nice furnishings, and was luxurious. We enjoyed sitting by the massive fireplace in the lobby of the lodge playing a friendly game of Scrabble while sipping wine. The owner of the property stopped by to chat with us and we had a delightful conversation with him. The main building contains the restaurant and bar. The wait staff in both places were exceptional – attentive, super-firendly, and very knowledgable about the hotel and the surrounding environs. We ate one meal in the restaurant and were very impressed. The presentation, quality, and portions were all top-notch.

This is the only luxury hotel that I’ve stayed at that I can truly say is worth every penny. This hotel and the staff made this a truly special trip! After visiting Prague and staying at the Golden Well I thought I would not find another great boutique hotel. One is very spoiled at the Golden Well but L’Auberge de Sedona was also very good not as good as the Golden Well but L’Auberge is definitely on its way. We were greeted by Randy when we drove up with a lovely smile and also by Jessy who took us to our room and explained everything. The front registery (Ryan) was also dynamite, we were given a complementary glass of wine, during happy hour, we decided to have dinner at the hotel and enjoy a fabulous dinner in the dining room. Everyone was very gracious and friendly along with the beautiful setting it was awesome. All tipping with the exception of the dining room was included which was delightful.

Overall our experience could be summed up as magnificent. This was a 40th birthday trip with a large group of friends. We stayed in the Vista Suite Cottages. I have to say this is without a doubt the best place I have ever stayed – everything about it was perfect. The views from the cottages were amazing. The service was outstanding. We enjoyed the yoga class every morning and even got to participate in the astronomy lesson one evening. The staff was very helpful and accomodating for our large group and took extra effort to make sure we were comfortable – the rooms were well stocked and there was even a fruit and nut platter in each room when we first arrived! The hotel is very peaceful and quiet and the location is perfect. The concierge, Graham, was extremely helpful in helping to plan our dinner reservations and tours before our arrival.
