Testimonials

We LOVE that this intimate resort knows who they are. We LOVE that it caters to a wonderful, peaceful, and spiritual experience. We LOVE it’s history, and that it is privately held.  L’Auberge de Sedona exceeded our expectations on many levels. We will make this, at least, an annual if not a twice a year experience. The rustic and warm cottages within a natural setting-the fireplace offering a crackling fire-and the ducks bobbing around made for a wonderful setting. You did not feel like you were steps away from the village of Sedona-it felt that “remote”.  “Lou” a server in the restaurant is AMAZING…and, every server we had so delightful. We have NEVER experienced a more impressive brunch-the Chef…incredible. Period. We are very well traveled-including out of country experiences. This says a lot, in our opinion and experience.

“It was paradise for the soul!”

“If I could give it 6 Stars, I would”  My husband and I stayed here for the first time in the
summer of 2011 and were so impressed, we returned for a second time in the spring of 2012. Every element of our stay at L’Auberge surpassed of highest expectations. They obviously place an emphasis on customer service and are constantly trying to find how to make your stay more pleasurable… The concierge staff is extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided us with great details/directions about several hikes and attractions. The food there is really some of the best we have ever eaten and dining by the creek is so
wonderful! Just a tip, dinner is a little pricey but lunch and breakfast are much more reasonable. We would usually fuel up for a morning hike with a nice breakfast and then return later in the afternoon for a larger lunch. That way, we were usually satisfied for the remainder of the day. But we usually do splurge on dinner at least once during our stay… Definitely worth it. The food and setting are a perfect combination. I think sitting by the creek among the red rocks is one of my favorite places on earth. Which is what is also so
magnificent about L’Auberge… it’s Location! It is nestled right along Oak Creek but with panoramic views of the red rocks. It really is a little piece of heaven on earth. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Sedona area. A must!

Most astonishing combination of fantastic food and creek side dining. This may be my favorite restaurant ever. If you’re in Sedona, don’t miss it. If not, plan a trip there to eat here. If you possibly can, stay on the property as well. It’s pricey, but well worth it!

L’Auberge was a real delight. We sat creek-side on a pleasant Sept evening and enjoyed watching ducks and, as the sun set, bats and nocturnal moths wheeling overhead- a real “floor show”. The food was innovative and portions were quite generous. My husband and I were quite hungry when we arrived, having travelled all day from Chicago, and the 3-course option left us pleasantly full- no room for dessert. Service was unobtrusive and pleasant. I loved the scallops and the crab crepe. Overall, one of the highpoints of a very nice visit to Sedona! I have already recommended it to several people since my return home to Chicago.
