You know how at Disneyland everything is beautifully maintained, but you never actually see any maintenance workers? It was kind of like that – perfect landscaping, super -friendly and helpful staff, chocolates on your pillow, and bathrobe and slippers in your room. We loved it! This was a grown-up vacation while the kiddo stayed with grandma, and L’Auberge was exactly what we needed.
The location was beautiful. It was always nice to return to the shaded creekside after a day of exploring the hot desert. We loved having breakfast at the restaurant, with tables literally right next to the creek. It was pricey, but better than anything else nearby. We also had dinner one night, but it was a little too formal for our taste and not quite worth the cost.
Overall, L’Auberge was exactly what we wanted for our vacation – a place to relax and be a bit spoiled for a few days. And an extra thank you to the valet staff for helping to fix our fender after we hit a curb!
We stayed at L’Auberge in May 2011 and recently just found our photos so it reminded me to come back to leave a glowing review. The setting by the Sedona creek is stunning, lush and cooling during the heat of the day. It is also a nice contrast to the high red rocks surrounding Sedona. The rooms are commensurate with the setting; very comfortable and well apportioned. The excellent service truly sets this resort apart from nearly any we have stayed at previously. There is a smile on everyone’s face. Graham, the concierge, was exceptional prior to our arrival and again once there in arranging a few tours as well as dining suggestions. Thanks Graham!
This is the first place my boyfriend, now husband took me for vacation. It is Magical,romantic, and L’Auberge quickly became one of our favorite places to be on earth. The view from our cottage was unbelievable. The most amazing Spa experience and the food was some of the best. They brought me oysters at 11:30 at night. The most incredible week! We can’t wait to come back.
My wife and I got married at L’Auberge de Sedona in June 2012, and they did a wonderful job of organizing, planning and implementing everything. It was a beautiful weekend, and they were all so helpful. The staff was friendly and professional. We would highly recommend them for hosting your special day. Many thanks to the staff of L’Auberge de Sedona and their sister property Orchards Inn! Our entire party had a wonderful time.
