INDOOR PATRIOTIC LASER LIGHT SHOW – July 4 – On July 4 at the Sedona Performing Arts Center, on 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road a free 20 minute laser light show will occur at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 p.m. Event is sponsored by Diamond Resorts International and the City of Sedona Parks & Recreation Department. sedonaaz.gov

A DOG’S DAY OUT IN THE PARK – July 16 – The City of Sedona Parks and Recreation Department cordially invites all animal lovers and dog owners to support our pet-friendly event, A Dog’s Day Out in the Park. This event is being held Saturday, July 16 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the multi-use field at Posse Grounds Park. This event is free for those interested in playing with their dogs on the beautiful grass field. SedonaAZ.gov/Parks

SEDONA’S 12th ANNUAL NATIONAL DAY OF THE COWBOY CELEBRATION – July 23 – in Uptown Sedona on Saturday, July 23 from 10:00 a.m – 8:00 p.m. Enjoy “cowboy going’s on”: gunfights, roping, action shooting, re-enactments, musical revue, storytelling, poetry, costume contest. SEDONA HUMMINGBIRD FESTIVAL – July 29-31 – The Hummingbird Society proudly announces its fifth annual hummingbird festival, where attendees can learn about hummingbirds from professionals, such as scientists, photographers, gardeners, banders, rehabilitators and more, and see thousands of hummingbirds of 5-7 species during peak migration, as well as witness the banding and release of hummingbirds. hummingbirdsociety.org

43rd ANNUAL FIESTA DE TLAQUEPAQUE – September 10 – We are pleased to announce our 43rd annual “Fiesta del Tlaquepaque,” a celebration of Mexican Independence Day; Saturday, September 10. Continuing a long tradition of fabulous food, music, dance and entertainment for young and old, this year’s Fiesta promises to be extraordinary. SEDONA MAIN STREET PAINT OUT – October 15 – Saturday from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. See thirty nationally recognized Plein Air Artists along sidewalks and plazas in Uptown, each completing a painting in 3 hours. PUMPKIN SPLASH – October 17 – Bring your bathing suit and join your friends at the best pumpkin patch in Sedona. On October 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Sedona Community Pool will be home to pumpkins ready for the picking. Out of the water that is! This unique event is fun for all ages. Pumpkin Splash is limited to the first 300 people. Everyone entering the pool facility, adults and children alike, must pay a $4 entry fee. FALL ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR – October 22 – This show is an old-fashioned, small town arts & crafts show with lunch and a bake sale at the Sedona Heritage Museum. All items are hand-made. The artist or craftsman can tell you how they make their pieces, where they find their unusual materials or what inspires them. Many vendors only do this show making their items unusual & uncommon. Find a large variety of offerings including fine art, ceramics, woodcarvings, jewelry, home and garden decor, baskets, gourd art, wearable art, greeting cards and gifts galore. SedonaMuseum.org

RED ROCKS OKTOBERFEST – October 22 – The Rotary Club of Sedona Red Rocks presents this Autumn craft beer festival on October 22 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Posse Grounds Park. 12+ craft breweries, wine, food, music and FUN! JOIN THE MURAL MARIGOLD PROJECT FOR DIA DE LOS MUERTOS – October 25-29 – Join us in our 5th year as we create another incredible public mural in the Calle Independencia where visitors and community members can honor the loss of loved ones in their lives and connect with one another though art and public expression. DIA DE LOST MUERTOS CELEBRATION AT TLAQUEPAQUE – October 29 – Join us in the courtyards of Tlaquepaque on Saturday, October 29, to make an offering at the Celebration of Dia de los Muertos. Music, food and beautiful altars will be on view starting at 2:00 p.m. Watch fire dancers and visit our thematic face painting booth. Costumes are encouraged. FESTIVAL OF TREES AT TLAQUEPAQUE – December 1-3 – This premiere holiday event at Tlaquepaque begins on Thursday, December 1. Area artists and galleries will have Art inspired trees. The trees all have different themes and incorporate different materials. Kick off your holiday season with a beautiful themed tree already pre-decorated. BREAKFAST WITH SANTA – December 3 – Sedona Parks and Recreation is pleased to bring to you for the seventh year running, our Breakfast with Santa event. After breakfast, children can enjoy making winter crafts, as well as sitting on Santa’s lap. Parents, don’t forget to bring your camera! THE NUTCRACKER – December 3-4 – The Phoenix Ballet and Sedona Chamber Ballet will present breathtaking performances of The Nutcracker on December 3rd and 4th at the Sedona Performing Arts Center. THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS – THE LIGHTING OF 6,000 LUMINARIAS – December 10 – Saturday, December 10, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. This one day event – A cherished tradition which involves the lighting of six thousand luminarias in Tlaquepaque’s courtyards and walkways at 5:00 p.m. Specially designated Luminarias honoring cancer survivors can be purchased in advance for $10.00 by calling (928) 282-4838. Tlaq.com

CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK – December 10 – Enjoy Christmas in the Park, a free annual open house from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. including Sedona Heritage Museum admission, afternoon concert, hot apple cider, cookies, apple sorter demos and make & take cornhusk ornaments.
