An Autumn Day in Sedona

Autumn in Sedona is truly magical as the leaves begin to change colors, the temperatures cool down and the flavors create the comfort food we all crave. There’s no wrong way to experience Sedona but there are a few spots worth putting on your bucket list.  From shopping to hiking to dining, we’ve planned a one-day itinerary that lets you experience it all.

Bring your morning coffee or tea to SpiritSong Terrace at the top of L’Auberge for a spectacular sunrise over the red rocks.

Walk down to Cress on Oak Creek for a casual meal by the creek. In the mood for savory? Order an Early Bird Panini or try the Morning Banana Split for something deliciously sweet.

Join fellow guests for a gentle and uplifting yoga session—perfect for easing into a day full of adventure.

10:15 SHOP
No trip to Sedona is complete without a little Southwest souvenir. Men and women can find something to love at
Garlands Indian Jewelry

11:00 NOSH
Pick up a few provisions at Sedona Memories. Taste sandwiches that keep locals coming back to this spot on a weekly basis. Tip – if you plan ahead and order over the phone they give you a freshly baked cookie which makes the perfect hiking treat.

Explore the metaphysical with a stop at
Mystical Bazaar for a psychic reading, chakra balancing, or aura photo (complete with a 23-page aura report).

Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village for numerous art galleries, artisan shops, crystals, restaurants and more.

Visit the
Chapel of the Holy Cross for a quick yet worthwhile trip to one of Sedona’s most interesting architectural gems.

4:15 HIKE
Take off on the Bell Rock Pathway for an easy hike that delivers spectacular views. Or try Cathedral Rock for a short but strenuous climb to one of the best views in Sedona.

Sit atop Bell Rock Trail or Cathedral Rock for stunning desert vistas, quiet meditation and stellar photo ops.

Come back to where it all started at the top of L’Auberge. Join local astronomer Dennis Young for a look at Sedona’s night skies.

8:00 DINE
Close the day relaxing as you savor a truly delicious dining experience at Cress on Oak Creek. After all, you’ve earned it. *Reservation recommended

Following a full day of Sedona highlights, we highly recommend recovering at L’Apothecary Spa for a relaxing experience.  This season the Flower Essence Massage allows you to choose a flower essence, through a flower reading, that the therapist will use during your treatment. Flower Essences create immediate positive effect on mood and state of mind, revitalizing the body, accelerate personal growth and eliminate non-constructive patterns.  We look forward to welcoming you to L’Auberge soon for an autumn day full of memories.
