Four Seasons Talavera Dinner Mash Up: Chef Rochelle & Chef Mel
Every month, Talavera at the Four Seasons at Troon North in Scottsdale, Arizona, does a Mash Up dinner for which they invite one local chef to join forces with Executive Chef Mel and create an exclusive and unforgettable menu. This month, our very own Executive Chef Rochelle, has the pleasure of working closely with Chef Mel and together they created a mouthwatering menu for the Dinner Mash Up on May 22, 2016.
Executive Chef Rochelle
At the age of 15, Chef Rochelle Daniel discovered her passion for cooking. Since then, she graduated from Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Scottsdale and embarked on an illustrious culinary journey. Now, she is Executive Chef of the award-winning Cress on Oak Creek and Etch Kitchen & Bar, incorporating locally foraged ingredients in her menus to reflect the locality of Northern Arizona.
Executive Chef Mel
In his late teens, Chef Meliton “Mel” Mecinas discovered his passion for cooking while working for his father at a family-style chain restaurant in Los Angeles. Now Chef Mel is the Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Talavera Restaurant at Troon North in Scottsdale, overseeing five resort dining operations. “The best food is simple.
