2017 marks the first year of the annual Sedona VegFest taking place at the Sedona Performing Arts Center, January 14-15. Be inspired, step out of your comfort zone and find out how easy it can be to adopt a lifestyle that can create positive results for your own health as well as benefit the world.
What is the Sedona VegFest?
The Sedona VegFest is a two-day celebration of whole-food and plant-based eating. You will learn about plant-based nutrition, have the opportunity to watch cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs and sample the delicious food. Besides receiving the latest scientific information on whole food plant-based nutrition, you will experience inspiring lectures and Q&As with top medical, environmental and animal rights experts.
Sedona VegFest key note speakers include; yet, are not limited to:
- Joel Fuhrman – Board-certified family physician with over 25 years experience in nutritional medicine Author of: The End of Heart Disease; The End of Dieting; Eat to Live; The End of Diabetes; and Super Immunity
- Richard Oppenlander – Author of the groundbreaking book, Food Choice and Sustainability, Dr. Oppenlander is a consultant and researcher whose award-winning book, Comfortably Unaware, has been endorsed as a “must read” by Ellen DeGeneres
- Craig McDougall – Board-certified internist and formerly worked as a primary care doctor at Kaiser Permanente in Portland, where he developed a Healthy Living Program
Tickets are $20 per day or $30 for both days. Children 12 and under receive free admission.
