Orange Blossom Honey & Strawberry Lemonade

Return to Blog Page

As Spring is upon us, it is time to change to the taste of the season in the lobby at L’Auberge de Sedona. It has become a tradition to update the beverage offered to guests upon arrival to flavors that represent the time of year while always being refreshing and welcoming. For Spring, the culinary team at Etch Kitchen & Bar and Cress on Oak Creek have decided to offer Orange Blossom Honey & Strawberry Lemonade. The name alone conjures up thoughts of playing outside as a kid in the green grass with the blue sky above and being called in for a sweet treat.

To enjoy these flavors at home, here is the recipe for the Orange Blossom Honey & Strawberry Lemonade:

  • ½ gallon of lemon juice
  • 1 pint of orange blossom honey
  • 1 gallon water
  • 1 pint of strawberries

Bring the honey and water to a boil, then cool and set aside. Mix strawberries to puree and strain. Mix all ingredients together, and reserve in refrigerator for at least 6 hours. Serve with ice cubes. Makes approximately 2 gallons.

If you would rather have someone else make the lemonade and serve it to you, we’d be glad to do that! Come visit L’Auberge this Spring and soak in the sights, sounds, smells, and flavors of the season.
