Sedona Adventures are Open

A romantic getaway. A celebratory occasion. Make your special time away a well-balanced one, filled with equal parts adventure, rest, and relaxation. Sedona is an outdoor enthusiasts’ dream – and can be a novices’ too! With varied outdoor options there truly is something for everyone and more than enough space to find nooks to explore and be inspired. Whether you’re climbing to conquer the mountain or going for a leisurely stroll to soak up vitamin D, we have listed Sedona adventures that are open and ready to be explored.
For the Thrill Seeker
Destination Jeeping is a combination of off-road jeeping with short hikes from the hiking experts at The Hike House. They define it as “the process by which you unlock the best a destination has to offer while utilizing “best in class” jeeps to get there.” Guests are given access to a customized Jeep that is 100% ready for Sedona trails along with an itinerary and GPS so you can get yourself there and visit multiple iconic trails in one day.
For the Hiker
For the lover of red rock trails, there are hundreds to choose from – take hikes that lead into Sedona’s spectacular scenery, bring four-legged friends too! The Hike House shared their picks for trails that provide more distancing and great views.
- Marg’s Draw is an easy hike and great for first thing in the morning as the sun is rising – get a closer look at our famed Snoopy Rock.
- Huckaby is a moderate trail that can be accessed from Midgley Bridge, just outside of Uptown Sedona. You get to do a little boulder hopping (stay out if the water is high) which can keep you cool on a summer evening hike.
- A commonly overlooked trail is the Mescal trail which is out near Boynton Canyon and gives incredible views of Secret Mountain Wilderness.
Hi-Line Trail starts across from Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte, which can be heavily populated. This quiet trail is a great way to climb and be rewarded with Cathedral Views, without the crowds of hiking the Cathedral or Bell Rock trails.
For the Relaxed Adventurer
Take the path that lets you relax as a passenger but still appreciate expansive views of the famed Sedona red rocks. Experience a Pink Jeep Tour with knowledgeable and skilled tour drivers. Their new offerings include private tours as wellness of all guests is a main priority. If you’ve been on a Pink Jeep tour before it was probably their most popular tour – Broken Arrow. For a second go-round try out the Ancient Ruin / Diamondback Gulch combo which gives you a look at ruins with an easy walk but then you’re back in the Jeep for some deep adventures.
Whatever your adventure level, Sedona has opportunities for you to be out in nature either for a solo excursion or surrounded by the ones you love.
