L’Apothecary Spa celebrates the changing of the seasons with a treatment that is sure to leave your skin refreshed and replenished with oils to keep it smooth throughout winter: The Prickly Pear Body Polish.

The Prickly Pear Body Polish

This seasonal scrub features the autumn fruit of the prickly pear cactus – a plant native to Sedona and the Sonoran desert. This nutrient-rich cactus “pear” has been used for medicinal and nutritional purposes for hundreds of years. In the Prickly Pear Body Polish, a prickly pear essential oil blend and pink salt are used to exfoliate the skin. Then, a Prickly Pear Body Butter is applied to moisturize the skin. This rich body butter contains prickly pear and pomegranate extracts, Jojoba and Aloe Vera to awaken your senses and provide soothing hydration for the skin.

Finish the treatment with a refreshing glass of cactus water. When consumed, the antioxidants and minerals in prickly pears can boost the immune system and lower inflammation.

The Prickly Pear Body Polish will be available at L’Apothecary Spa throughout November and December as a 60 minute treatment for $150.
