Embrace the changing of seasons in Sedona with warmer weather, new blooms, and a Himalayan Salt Glow!

This Spring, L’Apothecary Spa is highlighting our signature scrub allowing you to choose your own essential oil for the treatment. The selected essential oils are ideal for the seasonal transition from dry, winter skin to a healthy Spring glow. The treatment includes exfoliation using pink Himalayan Salt, the essential oil of your choice and organic safflower-sunflower oil.

Pink Himalayan salt has been long praised for its healing benefits. It is known for stimulating circulation, soothing sore muscles, and removing toxins. The salt will restore balance to your skin while acting as a natural exfoliant.

To personalize your experience you will have the choice of the following Tara Spa Therapy essential oils to be added to the Himalayan Salt for your treatment:

  • Detoxifying EO: Helps promote circulation and cellular metabolism, gently encourages lymphatic drainage, helps to ease water retention conditions. Key essential oils: Fennel, Juniper, Cypress, Grapefruit, Orange, Black Pepper and Rosemary.
  • Loving EO: A blend for reconnecting with your own loving nature and for sharing heartfelt, nourishing touch with loved ones. Opens the heart to the joy and beauty of the world, bringing a sense of lightheartedness, balance and strength. Key essential oils: Cedarwood, Tangerine, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli, Spearmint, Nutmeg.
  • Stress-Relieving EO: A calming and soothing blend that offers relief for stressed nervous systems. Helps shed negativity and tension while relaxing and sedating. Key essential oils: Lavender, Bergamot, Clary Sage, Roman Chamomile, Vetiver

Pair the Himalayan Salt Glow with other treatments to enhance your spring detoxification:

Once your skin has been exfoliated, the perfect complement to the scrub treatment, according to lead therapist Caleb Davison, is the Sacred Stone. The heat of the stones will enhance the permeability of the skin to the moisturizer that was applied in the salt glow. The stones also promote relaxation of the nervous system and muscles.

Also, once you’ve finished your treatment and are truly relaxed, remember that the essential oil blends are available for purchase in the L’Apothecary lobby which will allow you to bring your relaxation home.
