Spring will be Springing Soon

Return to Blog Page

A table on a deck on a sunny day, set with fruit, bread, and juice

The weather will be warmer as Spring is on its way and there is so much to do in Sedona!  As the trees begin to fill in, the flowers will be in bloom, and the town starts to wake up again; Spring is a beautiful time to be among the red rocks.

At L’Auberge de Sedona, we celebrate Spring with dining creekside on the banks of Oak Creek and spa treatments along and in the creek.  L’Apothecary Spa offers two treatments that incorporate the creek.  First is Feet in the Creek, a playful treatment that allows you to wade in the creek before a little reflexology and neck/ shoulder rub.  Then there is the spa cabana set along Oak Creek where massages are preformed with the sound of the creek aiding in your relaxation.

Around town, we have a several activities to celebrate the beginning of Spring, including some of our favorites:

  • Sedona Mountain Bike Festival 3/2/18 – 3/4/18: The Sedona MTB Festival is 3-day mountain bike celebration that will include a Main Expo/Festival, Bike Demos, Shuttled Rides, a Beer Garden, great Bands for (3) nights and a whole lotta sweet RED SINGLETRACK!
  • Free entrance days to the National Parks, including the Grand Canyon: 4/21/18: The Grand Canyon on 4/21/18, the first day of National Parks Week, has free entrance available.  The Grand Canyon is a 2.5 hour drive from Sedona and makes for a great day trip with several trails to hike and ways to experience the splendor that makes it a wonder of the world.
  • Great Sedona Chili Cook Off 5/5/2018 at Tlaquepaque from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. This is a yearly event enjoyed by locals and Sedona visitors alike.  Each year many Sedona restaurants bring out their best chili recipes to compete to be the judge’s and people’s choice favorite.

In every season there is something special to do in and around Sedona!

MindBodyGreen.com: “Well Traveled In Sedona, Arizona: A Metaphysical, Awe-Inspiring Experience”

MindBodyGreen.com editor Jamie Schneider recently visited L’Auberge de Sedona for a winter experience including a stay in a Creekside Cottage along with dining at Cress on Oak Creek – “add some metaphysical programming, grounding spa treatments, and a spiritual vortex hike into the mix, and suffice it to say I have a new perspective on mind-body healing.”

TheZoeReport.com: “I Went On a Metaphysical Themed Getaway To Sedona & Returned Anew”

We invited writer Nicole Kliest to have a quintessential L’Auberge de Sedona experience. Her itinerary included a hike among the vortexes, dinner at Cress on Oak Creek and a new experience at L’Apothecary Spa guided by our Paths of Possibilities. Nicole came to the property open-minded but not quite a believer in the healing properties that Sedona possesses. Read further for her perspective on the metaphysical experiences that she came to embrace.
