How to spend the perfect weekend getaway this summer at L’Auberge de Sedona

Nothing beats a weekend away to escape a busy summer schedule. Head to see the red rock views on the banks of Oak Creek at L’Auberge de Sedona, the perfect way to unwind and connect to yourself and the natural surroundings. Whether you visit for a weekend of unique adventures or restful afternoons, here is a luxurious way to experience life artfully nourished in Sedona.

 

Friday

4:00 pm: Arrive at your L’Auberge de Sedona cottage to unpack and admire the natural landscape of the grounds. 

5:00 pm: Take the time to truly start your weekend of relaxation and enjoy the sound of nature during a Creekside massage from L’Apothecary spa at L’Auberge. 

7:00 pm: Wander to uptown Sedona, only a few minutes walk from the property, and explore the local shops. Discover 89Agave Cantina for margaritas and tacos to replenish and prepare for the next full day.

Saturday

5:30 am: Wake up with the sun and enjoy a crafted cup of espresso from the in-room Illy espresso machine, watch the sunrise from the views of your private expansive balcony. 

6:00 am: Grab your hiking boots and head to the infamous Devil’s Bridge trailhead for an early hike to beat the crowd. Enjoy the natural red rock scenery as the sun showers them with a morning glow.

9:00 am: Back at L’Auberge, head to a lush creekside breakfast at Cress on Oak Creek to indulge in their signature mimosas with the L’Omelette du jour or fresh Olive Oil Pancakes.

11:00 am: Take some time to unwind and have a second cup of coffee under the sycamore trees at Duck Beach. 

12:00 pm: Pack your bag and head out to explore the artful area of Tlaquepaque and the expansive art galleries surrounding Sedona.

2:00 pm: Who can visit Sedona without a Pink Jeep tour! Hop on one of the infamous colored open-air jeeps with a knowledgeable guide to explore the rugged red rocks.

4:00 pm: Head home to your room then stroll over to the Artist Cottage and participate in one of the uniquely curated and immersive guest activities such as Chakra Yoga with Sound Healing, Creative Journaling, or Crystal Introduction and Meditation.

5:00 pm: Time for a quick nap, or take some time to alleviate from the long day in your cottages’ outdoor cedar shower. Maybe a glass of wine to accompany you?

7:00 pm: Walk over to Cress on Oak Creek restaurant for your creekside reservation and enjoy a tastefully curated fine dining dinner. As the sun goes down soak in the natural wonders of your surroundings.

Sunday

9:00 am: Now is your time to sleep in! Wake when you’re ready and order an in-room dining breakfast to experience on the balcony in your plush robes. Let the sounds of nature relax you for your journey home.

10:00 am: Head to the Spirit Song Terrace for a morning guided yoga session overlooking the red rocks, touched by the rising sun. 

12:00 pm: Say goodbye and depart feeling connected and refreshed after your weekend stay at L’Auberge de Sedona. (Or book an extra day! Who needs to work anyways!)
