Located in Camp Verde, about 40 minutes away from L’Auberge, is Out of Africa Wildlife Park (928) 567-2840 where relocated wild animals are together an outdoor sanctuary environment.

General admission pricing is $32.95 for adults, $30.75 for seniors, $25.25 for active military, and $16.45 for children.  During the month of one’s birthday, admission is free with proper identification.

African Bush Safari: an educational tour and ride among the animals, including zebras and giraffe, that will come right up the vehicle.  With instruction for safety, guests are able to feed the giraffe directly, who lowers his 600-pound head right into the vehicle at times to grab a celery snack.

Wildlife Preserve is open for guests to walk through and see some of the animals up close in their enclosures, with a tram that rides at intervals in order to relocate guests per their preferences for catching the various shows or seeing animals in other parts of the park.

Predator Feed is held at 3:00pm every Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday.  This is a 40-minute walking tour where guests join an animal caretaker for a feeding experience offering plenty of opportunities to take amazing pictures while bears chow down, hyenas laugh, and lions roar.

Reptile Resort: a spectacular and diverse reptile exhibit that integrates spacious climate-controlled enclosures, live plants and substrates with exotic snake and lizard species from around the globe.
