Discuss the forces of nature that carved and sculpted the beautiful landscape of Sedona. The leader of this activity is an expert outdoor guide and can answer any of your questions about the geology and environment of our high desert location.

Offered Mondays at 9:30 am.

Meet local Sedona artists as they work their magic painting and sculpting masterpieces. Interact with the artists, ask questions about their work or preferred art medium, learn about art galleries in Sedona, or ask about other local art programs. Times change seasonally.

Truly take in the outdoors with a renewed sense of apprecia-tion and stillness. This activity offers a sampling of Shinrin-Yoku (translated directly from Japa-nese as “forest bathing”). Our certified facilitators will support your well-being through sensory immersion in nature. Dress appropriately for the weather with comfortable shoes.

Offered Wednesdays at 10 am.

Come to enjoy our L’Auberge tradition of feeding our resident ducks on duck beach. We provide duck feed every morning for guests to spread at Duck Beach for our feathered friends. The rich riparian environment features unique vegetation and wildlife and a serene place to relax.

Daily Sedona Yoga Class at L'AubergeBegin your day in a healthy way with a gentle yoga class to open and stretch the body as a means to restore balance and release tension. You will leave invigorated and open – ready for the day in beautiful Sedona! Class sizes are limited. Attendees must be at least 16 years old.

Join General Manager Anthony Duggan for a weekly reception as he shares local wines, his favorite spots in Sedona, and welcomes guests to L’Auberge de Sedona.

L’Auberge de Sedona is honored and proud to partner with recording artist Anthony Mazzella this Summer. Anthony’s original music is composed with a fusion of world influences consisting of acoustic fingerstyle, classical, flamenco, jazz, funk, R&B, Celtic, and rock and roll. The full moon has magnifying effects; whatever activity is being done during the full moon becomes amplified in its effect and intensity. Meditating during a full moon energy cycle creates a more powerful time to activate connections at a deeper level.

Essential Oils from aromatic plants were one of mankind’s first medi-cine. Explore how aromatherapy has been used throughout the ages. This activity includes in-formation about the benefits and safe ways to use essential oils in everyday life. Guests will experience the qualities and scents of 7 essential oils for greater health and well being.

Looking to hit the trails while in Sedona? There is no place more beautiful or magical, so be sure and experience time in the great outdoors during your visit. Meet in the L’Auberge Arrivals Cottage and we will transport you to and from The Hike House (3-5 minute drive), where you can use their interactive com-puter program to match your hiking ability and interest with the right Sedona Trail.

Curious about vortexes and hikes? Join us for an informative hour gathering with local Mike Koopsen.  He will share his extensive knowledge of Sedona.

As part of our Artist in Residence program with Goldenstein Gallery, this season we are encouraging our guests to be the artists.  Focused on creating memorable experiences through interaction and discovery, Goldstein’s exhibits and programming are designed to allow guests to connect with the property, Sedona’s exciting art scene and each other in authentic ways. Explore your creativity and find your inner artist in a painting class on beautiful Oak Creek. Enjoy the fresh air while you paint iconic views of Sedona. No experience is needed as the instructor will walk you through the Painting of the Day in a step-by-step process.

Offered Tuesdays from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm; $40 per person.

Sound healing provides an experience of complete relaxation for the nervous system and a cleansing of the energy fields. This activity begins with a brief discussion of primordial sound healing and moves into a few simple interactive practices of toning and man-tra, allowing new discoveries of yourself to surface. Next, a deep re-laxation and chakra balancing are achieved through the sounds of 7 native flutes that are tuned to the 7 main energy centers of the body.

Very few places in the world can compete with Sedona for Stargazing. Join astronomer Dennis Young as he leads you on a tour of Sedona’s world famous night skies. Known as an official “dark sky city”, Sedona stargazing is unmatched. Times change seasonally. Please check the front desk for accurate times. No registration needed, this event is open to all guests of L’Auberge.

couple in a blanket at night in sedonaStar Bathing is our adaptation of Shinrin-Yoku, Forest Bathing, in celebration of the dark skies of Sedona and fresh air of our high desert oasis. Connect with nature while finding peace under the quiet starlit sky. Our certified Forest Bathing facilitators will guide you toward heightening your other senses when vision is reduced by the darkness of night. Your facilitator will invite you to awaken and attune your senses to the smell of the fresh water flowing through the creek, the rustle of the leaves, the taste in the wind; all while slowing down to meet the calm natural wonders of the night.
