SIGNATURE SEDONA EVENTS
A two-day celebration of everything veg, with something for everyone from the committed vegan to the simply veg-curious. World-renowned speakers provide education and inspiration on the medical, ethical, and environmental benefits of a whole-food, plant-based diet and lifestyle, celebrity chefs share their secrets of WFBP food preparation, and dozens of exhibits showcase the latest foods, products, services, and information for WFPB living.
The Sedona Marathon Event will feature three distances sure to take your breath away: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. This scenic race attracts athletes from around the globe to enjoy Sedona’s red rocks up close and personal. “If the scenery doesn’t take your breath away, the hills will!”
SEDONA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
The greatest celebration of the best in independent film from around the world, right here in Sedona. From features to shorts, documentaries to animation and foreign films to student films, you will be treated to a cinephile’s dream … NINE DAYS and more than 160 films!
SEDONA MOUNTAIN BIKE FESTIVAL
The Sedona Mountain Bike Festival is 3-day mountain bike celebration that will include a Main Expo/Festival, Bike Demos, Shuttled Rides, a Beer Garden, great Bands for (2) nights and a whole lotta sweet RED SINGLETRACK!
SEDONA YOGA FESTIVAL
Deepen your practice and tap into ancient wisdom with three days of yoga, music and energy work in the undisputed spiritual center of the West. The flexible conference structure gives you an unparalleled opportunity to weave your own experience in the richly colored cultural and natural tapestry that is Sedona.
ANNUAL ST. PATRICK’S PARADE & FESTIVAL
Saturday, March 11 along Jordan Road in Uptown Sedona. Free event presented by Sedona Main Street Program, NAU Parks and Recreation Program, Sedona Green Team. 46thAnnual Parade starts at 10:30 a.m; free festival follows until 3:00 p.m.
CELEBRATION OF SPRING
This is much more than just an egg hunt, this is a Celebration of Spring! Join us for this fun, action-packed event for families and all those in the community that enjoys spring and the beautiful outdoors. Inflatable toys for kids, petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, carnival rides, duck races and much more are included with the admission fee for the youth attendees. $5 for children 12 and younger.
CINCO DE MAYO CELEBRATION AT TLAQUEPAQUE
Immerse yourself in a colorful Fiesta saluting a rich heritage at Tlaquepaque. Enjoy the festivities while cheering and whistling to the music of mariachi musicians, clapping to the steps of Folklorico dancers and savoring traditional Mexican food.
GREAT SEDONA CHILI COOK-OFF
The Rotary Club of Sedona’s annual fundraiser, The Great Sedona Chili Cook-Off is on the Saturday of the Cinco de Mayo weekend at Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. All proceeds from the Chili Cook-Off are used for local and international Rotary Club of Sedona Projects, including the Imagination Library.
ILLUMINATE Film Festival
The world’s premier film festival for conscious cinema. Dedicated to spreading enlightened ideas and pushing humanity forward, ILLUMINATE is a landmark destination event and centerpiece for conscious content. Our mission is to expand human consciousness through cinema.
SEDONA HUMMINGBIRD FESTIVAL
The Hummingbird Society proudly announces its fifth annual hummingbird festival, where attendees can learn about hummingbirds from professionals, such as scientists, photographers, gardeners, banders, rehabilitators and more, and see thousands of hummingbirds of 5-7 species during peak migration, as well as witness the banding and release of hummingbirds.

The Annual Sedona Winefest will feature over 20 wineries from Arizona, entertainment, food, and vendors galore while enjoying the breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic red rocks.
SEDONA ARTS FESTIVAL
Held on the campus of Sedona Red Rock High School – A favorite in the Southwest, the festival showcases 125+ juried artists, the Gourmet Gallery, an international guest artist, and KidZone, as well as great music, food, and raffle prizes. Admission supports arts education in our community.
SEDONA MAIN STREET PAINT OUT
See thirty nationally recognized Plein Air Artists along sidewalks and plazas in Uptown, each completing a painting in 3 hours. Free event sponsored by Sedona Main Street Program and presented with Sedona Arts Center.
Bring your bathing suit and join your friends at the best pumpkin patch in Sedona. The Sedona Community Pool will be home to pumpkins ready for the picking. Out of the water that is! This unique event is fun for all ages. Pumpkin Splash is limited to the first 300 people. Everyone entering the pool facility, adults and children alike, must pay an entry fee. This entry fee includes a pumpkin to take home.
FALL ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR
This show is an old-fashioned, small-town arts & crafts show with lunch and a bake sale at the Sedona Heritage Museum. All items are hand-made. The artist or craftsman can tell you how they make their pieces, where they find their unusual materials or what inspires them. Many vendors only do this show making their items unusual & uncommon. Find a large variety of offerings including fine art, ceramics, woodcarvings, jewelry, home and garden decor, baskets, gourd art, wearable art, greeting cards and gifts galore.
SEDONA PLEIN AIR FESTIVAL – October 14-21

RED ROCKS OKTOBERFEST
The Rotary Club of Sedona Red Rocks presents this Autumn craft beer festival. 12+ craft breweries, wine, food, music, and FUN! Wear your lederhosen or dirndl and join the crowds – all proceeds raised are set to fund scholarships for Sedona kids.
THE MURAL MARIGOLD PROJECT FOR DIA DE LOS MUERTOS
Join us as we create another incredible public mural in the Calle Independencia where visitors and community members can honor the loss of loved ones in their lives and connect with one another through art and public expression. All week the public is invited to paint on the mural.
DIA DE LOS MUERTOS CELEBRATION AT TLAQUEPAQUE
Join us in the courtyards of Tlaquepaque to make an offering at the Celebration of Dia de los Muertos. Music, food and beautiful altars will be on view. Watch fire dancers and visit our thematic face painting booth. Costumes are encouraged. Ofrenda or Offering, in the traditional Mexican celebration of Día de los Muertos, is created to remember the dead and to honor ancestors.
ANNUAL SAFE & FUN TRICK OR TREAT
Uptown Sedona, merchants welcome ghouls and ghosts at store fronts for treats! Community dance performance, safe environment, lots of fun. Free event presented by the City of Sedona Parks and Recreation Department.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
Sedona Parks and Recreation is pleased to bring to you for the seventh year running, our Breakfast with Santa event. After breakfast, children can enjoy making winter crafts, as well as sitting on Santa’s lap. Parents, don’t forget to bring your camera! This event is free, so come for the pancakes (and more), come for the crafts and most of all, come to see Santa Claus!
The Phoenix Ballet and Sedona Chamber Ballet will present breathtaking performances of The Nutcracker at the Sedona Performing Arts Center. Enjoy a Nutcracker production with professional sets, costumes and, most importantly, internationally acclaimed, award-winning dancers.
THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS – THE LIGHTING OF 6,000 LUMINARIAS
This one-day event – A cherished tradition which involves the lighting of six thousand luminarias in Tlaquepaque’s courtyards and walkways. Specially designated Luminarias honoring cancer survivors can be purchased in advance for $10.00 by calling (928) 282-4838.
