In collaboration with Sonrei, we welcome Dustin Holt, Co-Founder of Sonrei, as L’Auberge de Sedona’s first-ever Chief Suncare Officer. With decades of experience in pharmaceutical dermatology, Dustin is a sun-safety expert and passionate advocate for conscious skincare. His mission: to guide guests on how to enjoy Sedona’s natural beauty safely, with confidence and care.

His guidance lives in the details—like thoughtfully placed Sonrei SPF dispensers at the pool, curated sun protection options in our retail spaces, and personalized product recommendations integrated into the spa journey. What Our Chief Suncare Officer Wants You to Know

Dustin Holt shares his top tips for staying protected while enjoying the outdoors:

1. Mist Needs a Rub-In – Always rub in spray sunscreens to ensure full, even coverage.
2. Apply Early, Apply Often – Don’t wait until you’re outside. Apply 15–30 minutes beforehand and reapply every two hours.
3. Don’t Skip the Details – Ears, back of neck, hands, feet, and scalp—don’t forget them!
4. Even on Cloudy Days – UV rays don’t take days off. Neither should your SPF.
