Fall in Sedona: Color, Adventure & Creekside Connection at L’Auberge

As summer gives way to fall in Sedona, cooler days invite longer adventures, crisp mornings begin beside Oak Creek, and autumn color gradually transforms the landscape. At L’Auberge de Sedona, fall is a season for exploring, gathering, and reconnecting — with nature and with one another.

Fall foliage typically begins appearing earlier at higher elevations along Oak Creek Canyon, while the sycamores and surrounding trees at L’Auberge often reach their colorful display in late October into early November. Golden leaves against Sedona’s red rocks create one of the most memorable times of year to experience our creekside resort.

This season also arrives following an exciting year of recognition for L’Auberge de Sedona. Recent honors include being named a Top 10 Best Resort in Arizona in Travel + Leisure’s 2026 World’s Best Awards, receiving a 2026 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, and inclusion in Oprah Daily’s 2026 Hotel O-wards: 58 Retreats Resetting Your Mind, Body, and Spirit.

From fall hiking and creekside breakfasts to restorative wellness and evenings around the fire, discover autumn at L’Auberge de Sedona.

Cool mornings and the gentle sounds of Oak Creek make fall an especially beautiful time for breakfast at Cress on Oak Creek.

This season, a new breakfast menu celebrates ingredients and producers from Arizona and the surrounding region, featuring Noble Bread, K4 Ranch Beef, Arizona honey, prickly pear, and seasonal Verde Valley produce.

Begin the day with favorites including the Verde Valley Garden Scramble, a hearty Skillet Hash, or a classic Breakfast Sandwich before heading out to explore Sedona.

The new menu also introduces house-made Cress wellness drinks. For a nourishing start or post-adventure refresh, try the Protein Recovery, blended with almond butter, banana, dates, oat milk, and pea protein.

With autumn leaves overhead and Oak Creek flowing alongside your table, breakfast becomes part of the destination.

Gather around the table this Thanksgiving at Cress on Oak Creek, where two distinct dining experiences invite guests to celebrate surrounded by the beauty of late fall in Sedona.

During the day, the Thanksgiving Day Feast brings together seasonal flavors and beloved holiday traditions with an abundant buffet prepared by the L’Auberge culinary team. Enjoy fresh seafood, artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, seasonal salads and festive accompaniments, along with chef-attended carving stations featuring oven-roasted heritage turkey and slow-roasted K4 Ranch prime rib. A grand display of miniature holiday pies, tarts, mousse cups, and specialty confections offers a sweet finish to the feast.

As Thanksgiving transitions into evening, settle in for a more intimate family-style Thanksgiving Dinner. Begin with a choice of seasonal salad before sharing heritage turkey and K4 Ranch prime rib alongside brioche cranberry-apple stuffing, juniper-smoked pomme purée, and haricots verts and snap pea casserole. Finish with your choice of an individually plated dessert, including Coffee & Donuts, Pecan Pie Cheesecake, or Abuelita Chocolate Pot de Crème.

Whether joining us for the abundant daytime buffet or gathering around the table for family-style dinner, Thanksgiving at L’Auberge offers a chance to slow down, spend time together, and celebrate the season with an unmistakable sense of Sedona.

Inspired by the land’s earliest roots, the Oak Creek Orchard pays homage to a time when the banks of Oak Creek were home to apple and peach orchards cultivated by Sedona’s original settlers. This seasonal cocktail blends apple brandy and fresh apple cider with Amaro Montenegro, lemon, maple, and warming allspice for an orchard-inspired taste of autumn at L’Auberge.

Raise a glass to L’Auberge’s storied setting and the flavors of the season. The Oak Creek Orchard is available now through Thanksgiving at Cress on Oak Creek.
