Invoke relaxation with sensory exploration this Labor Day at L’Auberge de Sedona through culinary delights and nourishing spa well-being interactions. We’ve created a long weekend of happenings that is a combination of relaxation with meaningful experiences. From arrival to departure, we invite you to discover your individual journey.

Friday 9/3/21

Art by the Glass, 2:00 – 4:00 pm – Explore your creativity and find your inner artist in a painting class on Oak Creek. Enjoy the fresh air while you paint iconic views of Sedona. No experience is needed, as the instructor will walk you through the Painting of the Day in a step-by-step process. ($40 per guest)

Summer Solstice, 4:00 – 6:00 pm – Participate in an enhanced happy hour including a sultry olfactory journey with essential oils paired with our bartender’s selections and culinary bites. (complimentary)

Stargazing, 7:30 – 9:30 pm – Join astronomer Dennis Young as he leads you on a tour of Sedona’s world-famous night skies. Known as an official “dark sky city”, Sedona stargazing is unmatched. (complimentary)

Saturday 9/4/21 

Cress Bar Slider Soirée, 3:00 – 5:00 pm – Join Executive Chef John Gapasin at Cress Bar as he prepares sliders and talks about cooking, his culinary explorations, and his recent hot wheels find. (complimentary)

  • Seared Trout Farm Sliders, Fennel Slaw, Garlic Aioli
  • Pork Belly Sliders, Wild Arugula, Mustard Seed Mayo

S’Mores Roast by the Firepits, 7:00 – 9:00 pm – Stop by the front desk for s’more fun and pick up your own S’mores kit. Enjoy roasting marshmallows under the beautiful Sedona stars by the fire pit. (complimentary)

Sunday 9/5/21

L’Apothecary Mini Blending Bar, 9:30 – 10:30 am – Create a “soak to go” with a sampling of natural ingredients while invoking exploration and creative expression when using a mortar and pestle and releasing organic aromas. (complimentary)

Cress Brunch + Interactive Smoothie Bar, 11:30 am – 2:00 pm – Enrich your Sunday Brunch at the specialty smoothie bar with three unique flavors offered for long-weekend enjoyment. ($13 per smoothie)

  • Cookies & Cream Protein Shake

Creekside BBQ- Grilled Brisket & Ribs, Grilled Brisket and Ribs, 2:30 – 9:00 pm – Taste the festive flavors of a long-weekend barbecue with traditional accompaniments while extending a rejuvenating culinary experience. ($65 per person)

  • Beef Brisket or St. Luis Style Ribs
  • Ramona Farms Beans & Rice, Mustard Seed Potato Salad, Crispy Brussel Sprouts
  • Chocolate Almond Pie or Lemon Berry Pie

Monday 9/6/21

Yoga Stretch, 9:00 – 10:00 am – Begin your day in a healthy way with a gentle yoga class to open and stretch the body as a means to restore balance and release tension. You will leave invigorated, ready for the day in beautiful Sedona. (complimentary)

Sound Healing, 10:30 – 11:30 am – Sound healing provides an experience of complete relaxation for the nervous system and a cleansing of the energy fields. Begin with a brief discussion of primordial sound healing and move into a few simple interactive practices of toning and mantra, allowing new discoveries of yourself to surface. Next, a deep relaxation and chakra balancing are achieved through the sounds of seven native flutes that are tuned to the seven main energy centers of the body. (complementary)

Creekside BBQ- Grilled Brisket & Ribs, Grilled Brisket and Ribs, 2:30 – 9:00 pm – Continue the festivity  with Chef John’s Labor Day barbecue combined with traditional accompaniments and sweets from Chef Morgan to finish off a relaxing weekend. ($65 per person)
