For the comfort and respect of all of our guests at L’Auberge de Sedona, please review the spa guidelines to ensure your L’Apothecary Spa experience to be the best that it can be.
We welcome guests who are 16 years of age and older. Younger guests need to have a parent or guardian fill out a minor release form, or may blend in the spa L’Apothecary with adult assistance.
Scheduling Spa Services & Private Sessions
For maximum availability, we recommend that you schedule your spa services and any private sessions at least two weeks in advance of your stay. Our Reservation Agents are available to answer all of your questions by phone at 1-844-330-8372 or by email to [email protected].
Cancellation & Change Policy
We do have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact the spa at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations or no shows with less than a 24-hour notice incur a fee of 100% of the reserved treatment cost. Please also contact the spa a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment time if you want to change the type or time of your spa treatment.
All spa appointments have been designed to allow appropriate time for the full enjoyment of each service. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer the fullest possible experience. Please be aware that late arrivals will not be afforded extension of scheduled treatments. Treatments will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled appointment, and you will be responsible for payment for the full service.
To get the most out of your treatment, we encourage you to communicate with your therapist. Your comfort and enjoyment are most important to us, so let us know if you have concerns about depth of pressure during your massage, the temperature of your spa treatment room, music volume, or other concerns.
Gratuities & Tipping
Gratuities are not included in the spa treatment or private session fees. We do have a 20% automatic gratuity for your convenience. If you would like to leave extra gratuity for your service provider, you may do so by cash, credit card, or room charge.
Upon arrival to L’Apothecary Spa, you will be asked to complete an intake form for your therapist. Please include any medical conditions that we should be aware of before your treatment. If you are under a doctor’s care for any serious medical condition, such as cancer or recent surgery, we recommend you obtain a physician’s clearance prior to arranging a spa appointment.
We provide both 60- and 90-minute maternity massages to women who are past their first trimester. Facials may be enjoyed any time during pregnancy. We do not provide massage or body treatments for women during the first trimester.
For the comfort of all guests, we ask that no pets be brought into the spa. Assistive animals are allowed, if necessary for the guest.
Food & Alcohol
We ask that no food, alcohol or glass be brought into the spa. For guest safety, we will not provide spa treatments or allow use of the spa facilities to anyone under the influence of alcohol.
Outdoor spa treatments are offered weather permitting. Appointment location may be changed due to outside temperatures, precipitation, wind or inclement weather. A spa representative will assess the conditions each day, and guests will be given a minimum of two hours’ notice concerning a change in their treatment location.
Refunds are available for 30 days after purchase for spa retail items and unopened product. Any embroidered or custom orders are non-refundable.
The maximum length of time recommended for use of the steam room is 15 to 20 minutes. Pregnant women should avoid using the steam room, as it causes a rise in core body temperature, which may be harmful.
For the privacy and comfort of our guests, smoking, cell phones, laptops, cameras, and videos are not allowed in any of the spa areas. We do allow cameras and video in the spa lobby of our L’Apothecary blending experience.
