Drew Ricciardi

Cress on Oak Creek has long been a Sedona culinary destination with decades of talented culinary teams treating L’Auberge de Sedona guests along with Sedona locals and visitors to savory and sweet delicacies. Now, with the help of violinist Drew Ricciardi, your ears will be given a sweet treat as well. Dine on a delightfully crafted coursed menu, watch the path of Oak Creek meander along the restaurant and listen to the rich and complex tones that Drew creates thorough his years of practice and passion with the violin. 

Drew Ricciardi – A History of his Craft

Drew Ricciardi has participated in various festivals throughout his career:

  • Britten-Pears Orchestra and Contemporary Composition and Performance Workshop of Aldeburgh, England, directed by Oliver Knussen
  • Emerging Quartets Program, taught and founded by the Muir Quartet
  • Banff Festival Orchestra, as principal viola under the Berliner Symphoniker’s principal conductor, Lior Shambadal.

Drew has performed with the Shattered Glass Chamber Orchestra at Kneisel Hall and on the New School’s Schneider Concert Series, as a soloist with the Anna Myer Dance Company in Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art, and at the UN General Assembly with the Refugee Orchestra Project.

His latest appearances have allowed him to share the stage with Placido Domingo, Ramin Djawadi, and Stevie Wonder. Upcoming engagements include concerts with the Canada National Chorus and Orchestra at Carnegie Hall in April and June of this year.
