Art Walk - Interactive Art Sculptures
This year, September 21st, marks the 40th Anniversary of the International Day of Peace. Established by the United Nations, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences, and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace. In 2012, Sedona was honored to receive a proclamation from the UN becoming the 35th International City of Peace.
Inspired by Peace Day, Goldenstein Gallery has created the annual Everyday Peace art exhibit September 3rd-30th that supports peace through the arts and carries the intention of inspiring peace everyday through paintings and sculpture.
I believe all of our artists’ pieces have a peaceful intention that is realized by the artists as they create, and by the viewer when they experience the piece. In this way art is very healing.” – Linda Goldenstein
Artists in Everyday Peace Exhibit
Read below about our Everyday Peace exhibit artists throughout September at L’Auberge. In addition to the paintings and sculpture that are in this special exhibit, the artists painting in residence also reflect a sense of peace with their art, outlook and intentions. All of the art in this exhibit promotes a sense of peace when viewed and experienced.
  • JA Gorman captures the colors of Sedona’s landscapes beautifully and will be our Artist in Residence at L’Auberge September 16,17 & 18 from 8-10:30am.
  • Ali Mignonne takes us to another world with mixed media on canvas paintings, so dimensional and textured you feel like you could walk among the trees and swim into the water. She will be our Artist in Residence at L’Auberge September, 23, 24, 25, 27 & 28 from 8am-10:30am
  • Shey Khandro, accomplished sculptor and pointillist painter, Shey received formal training from Tibetan masters in exile, in the US, in keeping their art alive and true to the sacred. In her pointillist paintings, every dot of paint is an offering to end suffering in the world. This intention is carried through all of her artwork.
  • Rachel Tucker Rachel creates tranquil landscapes along the banks of Oak Creek while painting in Goldenstein’s Artist in residence at L’Auberge.

Nicole came to the property open-minded but not quite a believer in the healing properties that Sedona possesses.
