Fall Activities at L’Auberge de Sedona

The season of transition is upon us; the leaves are changing color, the weather is becoming more crisp and the smell of juniper is in the air. L’Auberge has a range of guest activities this fall that complement these seasonal changes.  While the days are getting shorter, there is still a wide range of things to do in Sedona and at L’Auberge. Find your creative muse by participating in the fall activities listed below.

Artist in Residence

Autumn in Sedona is a muse for creativity of varied modalities.  At L’Auberge, we are privileged to have several artists create on property each week, while interacting with our guests.  This is part of our Artist in Residence program founded along with Goldenstein Gallery.  Throughout the month of November, we will have artists who specialize in pointillism, sculpture, line art, music and more.

L’Apothecary Blending

Autumn L'Apothecary Blend_squareL’Apothecary blending is the perfect way to express your creativity in your very own bath soak or body scrub. You may choose between himalayan sea salt or sugar as a base and then blend different organic and non-GMO ingredients, such as cocoa powder, calendula flower, rose hips, peppermint or cardamom. Lastly, if you are creating a body scrub you may choose an oil to top off your creation. Our Spa specialists will assist in recommending ingredients which harmonize, if desired.

Be inspired by our autumn blend “Autumn Renewal“. This unique seasonal blend has been designed to renew your skin after the warm, sunny days of summer. With a mixture of white sage and cardamom, the skin is cleansed. Any swelling is reduced with the calendula flower, which is also soothing for dry skin. Rose hips are also used in this fall blend, which heals the skin with powerful anti-oxidants. There is no better blend to use as a scrub or soak to welcome the cooler autumn days.
