In 2014, Ryan Whyte Maloney appeared on NBC’s “The Voice,” where his audition song “Lights” received a 4 chair turn. Maloney landed a spot on Blake Sheldon’s team, where he went through two battle rounds against Cali Tucker & Kaleigh Glanton, advancing to Team Blake’s “ Top 5” where he recorded four hit singles from “The Voice” including “Lights” by Journey, Tina Turners “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” “Easy” by Rascal Flatts and “Second Chance” by Shinedown. Ryan Whyte Maloney is a staple figure in the Las Vegas music scene, performing corporate shows, playing showrooms, songwriting, and engineering/producing for TRUNORTH ENTERTAINMENT.

Maloney was raised in Traverse City, Michigan on rock ‘n roll and country, which helped develop a strong, diverse love of music. He began playing the guitar, violin, cello, and drums at age 9, and eventually sharpened his skills to write songs. At age 16, he recorded his first album and by age 21, Ryan self-produced and engineered at Frontier Studios in Copemish, MI. He spent years writing and recording original material, leading to his joining the nationally-acclaimed band “Indulge,” and recording the album “Tomorrow’s another Day” in 2005.
Maloney spent most of 2010 to 2013 performing across the country promoting the album, doing radio interviews and playing small clubs and honky-tonk bars. He performed in several national music festivals to crowds of over 250,000 people, all over the United States.
